thunderbird on flashdrive across platforms

I want to use a flashdrive for email at work (since I'm now moving back and forth between two offices) but one of the systems I'm forced to work on is a windows machine.

Is there a way to run my email from the flash drive on both the windows machine and my pretty ubuntu machine at my real desk?
