One of my good friends is a musician. He only uses macosx. He asked me why he would ever install Linux and what good is it for him?

He said to me, "does ProTools or FinalCut Pro run on that OS? no."

He career revolves around those applications.

I couldn't come up with a good reason why he would consider using Linux.
