Linux managed enterpise anti-virus?
I think this qualifies as on-topic for this group. If there's a better community I should be using please point me to it.
I am in need of deploying an enterprise wide anti-virus product at work to replace our per-client licensed set-up we have now. My problem is our network has zero Windows servers, we are quite happily all Linux on the back end. So I turn to you wonderful people to see if anyone knows of an enterprise grade/small - medium business anti-virus/anti-malware product that can be centrally managed from a Linux server. So far I've looked at Sophos, Nod32, Kapersky, McAfee, and Symantec. Most of them seem to cover Linux clients, file servers, or mail gateways but as far as I can tell none of them offer a Linux based management interface. Then again, a lot of them (I'm looking at you Symantec) offer so many different options it's hard to tell what's what. And unfortunately the vendor I use for most of my purchasing stuff (CDW) isn't really good with Linux recommendations.
So, is there a Linux managed anti-virus product I can deploy to my Windows end users? Or am I stuck buying a Windows server license and installing it that way? If so, can someone recommend one that will play nice with Samba/OpenLDAP instead of AD?
