I'm looking at picking up a DVD drive for a linux box (well, and a new little bookpc to play the dvds...) I'm pretty comfortable with my level of knowledge so I think I can set it up right, but i'm posting in regards to the faq I read at linuxdocs.org. it left me with the feeling that dvd playing support in linux was not that great. ( like audio and video skipping ever second or so) Has anyone used dvd in linux? How is it? I'm probably going to do it anyway, but I just want to see what others have experienced with it before I go bragging to the closed-source weenies about how cool I am for having a linux dvd player. :)
