Sound Card
As I said in the post before me I was looking for some Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound drivers. In my search I came across OpenSound. You have to pay for it but I installed the trial and it worked. But I am still looking for a free sound driver even open sound warez. I think that after I spent all this money on a sound card I shouldnt have to pay more for the drivers. When I first installed red hat 7.3 I had this problem. I would get this error message every once and awhile saying
Sound Server infomational Message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:
device /dev/dsp can't be opened (No such device)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.
I would usally just reboot agien(this only happened when I started up) and then it would be fine. But since I installed open sound it wont go away. I uninstalled opensound and it will wont go away. I was talking to my dad (who also runs rh 7.3) and he said he heard that its a kernel problem. Is there a way to fix this?
