Swatch replacements
This isn't the best place to post this, but there's no general unix tool community as far as I know, so...
We use swatch. Swatch has problems, because of problems in File::Tail and other bugs. Until File::Tail and the bugs in swatch are fixed (may be a while at this rate) we'd like to use another tool.
Does anyone know anything with similar functionality but that has a lower level of suckation? We're re-getting back pages (sometimes File::Tail will re-read a file it was supposed to be tailing), it freezes up sometimes, it's bad. Baaad. Bad.
