Keyboard mouse control

Thanks for the help, everyone. Much appreciated.

I've been developing some bad wrist problems, and it is especially aggravated by mouse usage; for this reason I've started using WinXP's MouseKeys control (allows you to move the mouse cursor using the keys on the number pad). Not very fast, but much easier on my hands.

Does Linux have anything equivalent to this? I could bite the bullet & buy a track pad or something like that, but I'd like to try Linux on my main machine & this is one of the major barriers for me.
