Sim City 4 and winex

Im a big sc nerd so I just got sc4. The problem is I cannt install it! When I mount cd1 and do winex autorun.exe or setup.exe I just got a message box from winex with a bunch of !'s and ?'s. I talked to a few people and they said its from the win UTF(the font thing not sure if thats right) I ran the auto run on my moms win2k comp and it had a bunch of langs. I think the lang support is screwing me over. Im gona try to install the game on her comp then copy it over to mine and see if it will work then. Any one else have experience with sc4 and winex?
