SimCity 4 and winex: Part 2

Ive gotten SimCity 4 to run on linux. In case anyone was wonder what you have to do is first install it on a winshit comp. For some reason the autorun/install wont work with winex. Install the game then send the install folder on winshit to an install folder on linux. Delete all the files that are like (comp name)-config-log.txt. Then run the game by typing winex *.exe. Once your in the game goto the options and make sure that your rendering from the software not the hardware. You may also want to lower the settings untill sc4 on linux is running better. Then you should be able to play.

The problem is that sc4 will randomly crash. Im not sure how to fix this. When I crash I also get just about the same error that some funtion got screwed up. Im not sure if this is a sc4 problem, winex problem or a combination of both.

Well tell me how your run went and if you have any ideas on how to fix the crashing problem.
