First of all, I gotta say thank you
to those of you who helped with my gcc problem. Turns out it wasn't installed, strangely enough, and I got it back up and working. As always though, there's more.
What should one do if every time they try to shut down, they get the message
umount: /net: device is busy
My shutdown stops at that point, forcing me to manually reboot which of course causes a filesystem check next time I boot up. Any suggestions?
