Xinerama on a laptop (or other solutions for multi display)
Anyone ever run xinerama on a laptop where the external monitor / projector port can be used to actually display another segment of desktop? I know it can be done in WinXP, and I've read of people doing it natively inside of things like SuSE -- if that's the case, I just need to get my hands on their XF86Config-4 ;)
I'm trying to use a Dell Latitude C610. It's currently got a working X-Server with an LCD and a CRT hooked up to it doing a 'clone' mode of working. If I can figure out a way to address just the monitor port, I'd gladly get out of doing just clone mode ;)
