Compex RL100ATX-PCI

Hello,

I'm trying to get this card working under Linux (Slackware 8.1). I downloaded, compiled and installed the winbond-840 driver, but ifconfig keeps giving me errors:

eth0: unknown interface: No such device.

Has anybody actually had any success with this adapter?
