Mozilla help!
Just joined the community, but I've been a lurker for a while. I'm hoping someone can point me towards a solution to my problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Suddenly, "out of nowhere," I click on the Mozilla launcher (or type mozilla in the shell) and it takes at least 30 seconds to display. It loads in seconds; the process shows up, and there is no processor load while I wait. It just... doesn't appear. Okay, it eventually appears... just takes a (long) while.
I'm running a fresh install of RedHat 8.0 "psyche" on an Athlon 1.2 GHz, 256 MB DDR. I'm using Mozilla 1.0.1 and GNOME 2.0. This problem first appeared when a friend logged into his account and tried clicking on Mozilla; but it exists in my account, too.
I'm stumped. On a (un)related note, is Mozilla the best browser to use, and if it is, what version is the most stable? Thank you for everything!
