is there any way to find out what kind of sound car i have on my computer? it's not a pci card, so i can't find it when i open the computer up, and neither sndconfig nor soundcard detector can find it when it probes for it.

when i set the audio to "Soundblaster" on sndconfig, i get a small blip of sound...it sounds kind of like half of the word "hello" is played...but im relatively sure it doesn't play the whole sound.

any help would be appreciated. thanks.
