Something stupid this way comes
I'm trying to FTP a file from my desktop to my laptop on my internal wireless LAN. I've been able to do transfers off the Web at more than 120kb/s from both of them, but I can't for the life of me get more than 20kb/sec between the computers internally on the same connection. What in blazes is going on here?
The desktop's using the prism2_pci linux-wlan-ng driver with a Netgear card and the laptop's using the orinoco_cs kernel driver with an integrated Agere card. I'm using a Linksys wireless router. I'm using a fresh install of wu-ftpd on the desktop; it shouldn't be doing any rate limiting...
