Linux Styles
Something that kinda bothers me.
I completely understand that the layout is just a layout, and the real matter is the power underneath the GUI, but honestly, it kind of bothers me that Linux is keeping tabs to Windows' design so closely.
I understand that Linux does this so any new migrators from Windows can pick up Linux with relative ease, but, it's still a bother.
Windows 3.1 to 9x/NT was a MASSIVE re-structure with the GUI.
I do honestly think that Linux should have it's own look and feel.
Don't you agree?
The only problem is...that is a pain to test.
What do you guys think about the Linux GUI?
And do you think that they SHOULD have their own look?
