CPiA/Sparc64

Well, after a few minutes of hardware hacking and driver hacking, I ported the CPiA Webcam LKM (Loadable Kernel Module, can also be built into the kernel) to the Sparc64 platform (64-Bit Sun workstations/servers.) I've tested it on my Ultra 10, so it should work on all Ultra workstations. It works flawlessly. This is just the parallel port version, mind you, not the USB portion. If I had a Sun workstation that had USB (I got rid of my Blade 100 almost two years ago.) I would have continued development on that portion. It should be able to port without modification, actually.

The camera I have had a PS/2 port passthrough that picked up extra juice. I just made a simple hack after searching for my ohmeter and finding the power in. (This is also in my journal.) So now it has a DC 5v pack that plugs in instead.

So anyways, I'm probably going to submit it to kernel.org. So this is good news for anyone that uses Linux/Sparc64 and has a CPiA based p-port webcam, which is a rare combination. Heh.
