Samba Issue
Hey all --
I've been running a Samba-based PDC for quite a while now. I just came across an issue I haven't been able to successfully resolve yet. Here's the skinny:
The PDC has many SMB shares. It also has several NETBIOS names. When I log onto the domain using a Windows 2000 machine, supplying the correct credentials, I have access to that user's home directory, as it should be.
Now, there's a share on the PDC that I'd like to access using another set of credentials. However, when I try to map the drive using a different set of credentials I'm told that a conflict exists with an existing set of credentials.
Is there any way to get around this, without a) changing ownership of the files to the account I log onto the domain with, b) logging onto the domain with a different username/password, or c) logging onto the workstation locally (non-domain login) and being able to map each share with a different username/password?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice : )
