Well then.
I've been asking around on the Knoppix forums, but, I've not gotten a single response, and it's been hours. I hope to have a tad bit of a quicker response here.
So.
Anyone here using Knoppix off the CD? I have a Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer, and after numerous attempts to use XMMS, they've all failed because the card is not configured.
I've tried booting with the alma parameter, or whatever it is. I've tried modconf'ing it and forcing an EMU10K1 module install, and I've tried modprobing it. (Yes, I 'sudo su' 'ed).
Every attempt has failed, and I would really like to listen to music while I'm naviagating around Knoppix.
I'm on AIM: JasonSSJ, if you need my contact information for another service, it should all be on my userinfo (I don't think I hid it to friends only...).
