Which Flavor?

gonna install linux on my machine.
Which flavor is the question...

Anybody have worked with other flavors of linux and can tell me the pros and cons of each one? I want my modem to work too. I have a flex 56 modem as far as I know... and its a win modem...

I'm debating on SuSE, Mandrake or Red hat. Most likely red hat or mandrake. Any one have opinions?
