Linux Laptop

I need a laptop for school and Ive been looking around for some but they all have winshit with them I was wondering if anyone knew of a place were I could buy a laptop without an OS or with linux already installed on it.

It should be a good laptop as well these are the specs im looking for

Intel Centrinio >= 1.6ghz
DVD Player
Floppy Drive
Memory >= 256meg
Hard drive >= 30gigs
Sound card with built in speakers
Video card >= 16meg
Wireless im not sure about because I dont know if I can connect to the network since I wont have novell

These would be nice
15" screen
Nvidia geforce >= 2
Battery Gage in an LCD screen above the keyboard
Price <= $2000

Anyone know of a place were I could buy a laptop like this?
