Two quick ones
1. does anyone have any experience advice for getting a fairly new tdk cd burner up and running?
2.ok, trued compiling a new kernel. made cofig, made dep, made bzimage, then i run make install and get this...

/lib/modules/2.4.21 is not a directory.

come again? im running red hat 9, btw.

btw.... Running Linux is GREAT! i just bought it the other day and just read it cover to cover. next will be the Official Red Hat System Administrators, which I was recommned to by a couple of you guys.
