i intend to take my old p133 w/ 16mb of ram and make it a hack box. so far, slackware didn't ever find my dhcp server (a linksys router) and freebsd runs slow as ass. (i couldn't get mandrake installed because my cds don't have the bare system on em.)

any suggestions? i am looking for an open source os that comes mildy secure out of the box.
