Backup Questions
I'll preface this by saying that I'm a bit of a Linux newb.
More than a bit.
But i still love it.
That said, I'm going to be setting up an automated backup routine at a company I work for in a couple days, and I've been doing my research, and found that KDat looks to be the program I want to try. However, we are NOT backing up to a tape drive, we are backing up to a networked hard drive. From what i've read about KDat, it only does tape backups. I could just write a script that TARs everything important and shoots it over to the networked hard drive, but I like pretty GUI's, so shoot me.
Is KDat an option for me?
If it isn't, what is?
