centrino support in linux

it makes me very sad/pissed off that intel is refusing to fully support centrino under linux -- they are probably being pressured by microsoft. they are not providing linux drivers and refuse to release any technical docs so that someone else may easily write drivers. one of my friends has the sweetest centrino based laptop and it sucks that he has to run windows in order to take advantage of all his hardware. please sign the following petition in order to try and change this situation
