ltsp/gdm question ...
Wow. For two days I was agonizing over this DHCP problem where it would DISCOVER and OFFER, and not ACK and the other one. Checking the cabling solved that, but led to the next issue in trying to get K12LTSP set up on these workstations.
problem : keyboard doesn't respond in X.
Display manager is gdm. I think I've got the right keyboard entry in /opt/ltsp/i396/opt/lts.conf. If I go to runlevel 3 on the machine I can type my heart out at the console.
I've gone-a-googling but all searches seem to point back toward the LTSP docs, which don't address this question. So I turn to you, the community. Any thoughts on which files I should check/configure?
update : on looking further it looks like it's a gdm not talking to the keyboard kind of thing. gonna keep searching tomorrow.
