xine

Could Xine be killing my xserver?
I just installed xine.
I swear I spent hours downloading dependencies, too, darn it.
This was hard work.
So, I installed the latest xine and xine-lib for RH9, etc., etc.
When I start xine it opens, but as soon as I try to do anything, including close the program,
I am immediately logged out of KDE and X altogether and must log in again.
Any ideas? I'll be your best friend.
