Web hosting solutions - recommendations?
Okay, now that I have a real job (and because I want to start putting links to pictures in my livejournal) I need web hosting and email and all that and I don't want to keep sponging off my old employers' good nature. And, it needs to be portable - email and hosting not tied to an ISP.
I was going to get a business-grade dsl line and do it myself, but that looks like a long ways away (and expensive). So, for now I want hosting.
I'm looking for recommendations of decent hosting providers.
What I need:
- 1 IMAP email account with at least 200MB of available space. (It is
okay if this is shared with webspace.)
- Web access that does (at a minimum) PHP and some database (MySQL or
PostgreSQL preferred).
- $20/month is the cutoff.
- They do not have to register my domain name for me; I can do that
separately. However it would be convenient.
Suggestions?
