netscape plugins issues
I have downloaded and installed both the latest RealPlayer (yeah, they finall updated it) and Java 1.4.1.
But netscape doesn't think I have them installed.
Now, I haven't set my preferences for the java helper, because I can't find the information for what mime types it opens anywhere, but, as for the RealPlayer, I set that up completely.
For some reason, my realplayer will open from terminal as root, though, so I can imagine that netscape simply can't call it up to use it.
I'm not sure how to solve either of these issues. Any assistance would be deeply appreciated, and I will provide any further pertinent information once I know what it is that would be helpful.
I'm using Netscrape 7.1 on RedHat 9.
