another problem i came across...
hey everyone. i came across this problem afte i installed linux on another box. theres two problems i have:
my primary master hdd has windows xp and my secondary master has linux, i want to create a dual boot, how do i do that? because when the windows drive was in, it went straight into windows. i had to remove the windows drive so it can boot into linux..
and my other problem was after i installed fluxbox:
after i installed fluxbox, there was no way to get into it. i tried eiting the ~/.xinitrc file, and adding the lines exec /usr/bin/fluxbox, but it said the file wasnt there if i wanted to create it. i did anyway, and then after, i tried running startx -- :1 like i do on this box, and well, it jus turns the monitor blank and comes back.. then when i try typing startx, it says this :
Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock and start again
so i try typing startx -- :0 and it says the same thing as above... any help please??
