proftpd help please!
alright guys, i just installed ProFTPD server on my box. i have a couple questions that are bothering me:
1) for some reason, i log in to the ftp locally with my username and password for the computer.. why is this??
2) how can i create new users, and specify certain directories to be as chroot for those certain users, and how can i set permissions to it?
3) how can i make sure noone can get root on my box, i wanna make sure everythings secure, and theres no trick like anonymous login chrooting to my root directory on my box and me not being aware of it.
help will be strongly appreciated. it will also cure my headache :[
