network issue
I've recently had problems with my computer restarting (issues with the case and a bad power strip). So after the most recent bout, my network settings no longer work.
Well, not completely. Networking works, I can connect to the internet, everything works fine except one thing: my computer no longer checks my hosts file for domains that are inside my LAN, so I get my router instead of it reading my web pages.
hosts is written correctly (it hasn't changed from when it did work). host.conf is the same as it was before as well:
order hosts,bind
multi on
What else can I check/change/fix?
