I feel like a lamer asking, but I'm going to anyway.

I just bought a new laptop (along w/ my existing laptop). I'm looking to have email be accessible from both systems w/o syncing problems, so I was planning on installing IMAP on my server (RedHat; it already has POP3 installed & running nicely for my existing email address). A few questions:

Is IMAP the right thing to use? I don't want to Leave Messages On Server using POP3, and I want to be able to use a GUI mail program (as opposed to, say, Pine or just SSH'ing into my server from both comps).

(the obvious one) How do I install IMAP?

Will having IMAP & POP3 both running on my server cause any problems?
