i wanted to ask some technical question, and i thought about it and decided this is the only place to find truly smart people.
optical mouse eyes or optical movement detectors, can they be bought as a component?
why is red light significant? can it be done with non red light,maybe ir?
can the light beam be limited to a straight line, only a 100/1000" or maybe 10/1000" thick, if the motion is only needed in the x plain (up and down)?
