Newbie Needs Help....
Okay I think I may have royally screwed myself up... but hers my problem:
I have a 120 gig drive that I need the stuff off of, the drive is recognized by bios fine. Both FDISK and Disk Druid recognize the drives existance, but neither can read it, claiming it is an "unknown" file system.
The drive is currently in ext3 file system and my guess is the partition table is screwed... any ideas on how to rebuild it and/or retrieve my data?
With this drive shot, my linux server is down. The only bootable form of linux I have at my disposal is the RH 9.0 rescue disk.
Added dificulty, my burner is currently dead and I've been legacy (floopy) free for quite some time.
Other box I have at my disposal is an WinXP box that is stripped down for purely gaming, but I can still hook that direcly to my cable modem to get online temporarily.
