hmmmm... kinda confused on this one. my sister gave me a buzz, told me this:
KDE started becoming sluggish, she decides to ctl+alt+<-- to log out. she logs out. screen goes black. usually when gdm is supposed to pop up, nothing happens. it just sits there black. half hour later, she is forced to do a hard reboot. boots up fine, then as X should just fire up and go to gdm, just darkness. hmph... how to fix a computer without visual help?
