Fedora

I just put fedora on my laptop and have been playing with it for awhile but I have come up with a few issues, mainly with yum. I added some repositories to it but still it can not get kig ettercap dvd::rip or the win32 plugins for xine/mplayer is it under a diffrent name or do I just have to manually get all of those? I was also wondering how could I keep my packages up2date with the latest so my mozilla is 1.5 not 1.4. Over the holidays I recived a PDA with bluetooth. My laptop(IBM Thinkpad T40) supports bluetooth and I opened bluetooth file sharing but I cannt connect to my laptop. How can I setup and configure bluetooth on my laptop? I also have been realizing that even though I keep setting my default window manager to KDE when ever I login it goes by default to gnome, how can I fix this?
