nautalus root menu

By default the nautalus desktop system installs a root menu similar to windows;the root menu allows you to right click to change, wall-paper, resolution, and other settings. Is there an option I can pass to disable teh nautalus root menu? I need the root menu disabled because I'm using a window manager in coperation with the desktop system where the right clicking feature is used for its own rootmenu. Thanks for any help my way.
