two issues
Sorry for the second post, I got a bit sick of posting edits to the previous post.
alright, first of all, mysql is acting up. I think that the one that came with mandrake is trying to run even though I installed a second version. When I run mysql_install_db to set up permissions, it shutsdown. After looking at the log, it says there is something else running on the port mysql uses. I looked around and didn't find very much. does anyone know the default directory for mysql on mandrake 9.2?
second, the wireless adapter has been rough. I have the atmel drivers and the other required stuff ready. I tried to iwconfig the wep but it didnt work. It just completely forgot the wep key and wouldn't start on the network. network: cannot connect to network.
But apache is working.. :)
