Compaq Proliant 800
Dual 4 Gig Drives
Smartstart Server setup
128Mb Ram.

When installing and I get to partion the drives, it says that it cannot write to the partion.
Smartstart can write to the partions, and the SCSI hardware recognizes the drives.
I have tried both Red Hat Version 8.0 and Red Hat Version 9.0
==========================================================
The partion table on the device sda was unreadable. To Create new partions it must be initilized, causing the loss of ALL
DATA on this drive.

This operation will override any previous installation choices about which drives to ignore.

Would you like to inititialize this drive, erasing ALL DATA?
No Yes
==========================================================

No, the machine sends termination signals and reboots.
Yes, and the machine gets
==========================================================
No Drives Found
An error has occured - no valid devices were found on which to create new file systems. Please check your
hardware for the cuase of this problem.
OK

The machine has no data, I did erase the drives and run Compaq Smartstart on it several times with different configurations.

Anyone have any suggestions?
