Good KVM switch?

I'm looking for a good KVM mouse switch. Need I stress GOOD. We have one now that's on the way out and it's a piece of shit to begin with. Are there any suggestions for a good KVM switch, has to be at least 8 ports, and not suck. It would be for company use and I think they'd be willing to spend $500 - $1000. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
