Spain unveils supercomputer plans

Spain has unveiled plans to build the world's second most powerful computer. The supercomputer will be able to process 40 teraflops - 40 trillion calculations per second, equivalent to 18,000 personal computers.

It will use the Linux operating system, the government said.

Looks like SGI/Cray are starting to lose to Linux.
