oss driver installation failure - soundon.log
i'm trying to install an m-audio delta 44 soundcard (recording card) on my homebuilt athlonxp system - using the oss drivers suggested at the m-audio site.
the installation seems to go fine, until you try to hit the finish button... the card never becomes avtive, and when i checked the logfile, like the error told me to, i see this...

No /lib/modules/2.6.3-7mdk/build/.config
Cannot use the kbuild method
which: no cc in
(/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/us
No C development tools installed.
No sndshield module available.
Building the OSS/Linux module failed.
i'm running mandrake 10official (2.6 kernal and gnome 2.4)...
i'd like to get this thing installed by tomorrow, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
