Newbie commands

Hi, Im a complete Linux Newbie, just installed Fedora Core 2 and Ive never used Linux before

Can someone please direct me to a website that has all the basic commmands listed? Im particularly looking for some reference to what commands open specific types of compressed files, and how to install programs and what not.

I figured this would be the right place to ask.
