New distro for the hell of it.

Out of sheer boredom (my plans to go to a shooting range fell through) I snagged a copy of SuSE 9.1 and put together a piece of crap box out of spare parts I had lying around here. Now I'm attempting to install it... just for shits and giggles. Now... no offense to SuSE fans around here, but is there a function in the install script that checks for the second coming before it lets the installation finish? It's been two and a half hours, and the damn thing is still only 33% finished! Now.. this box isn't exactly a screamer, but it's a PIII 500 with 128 MB RAM with a 24x CDROM. What the devil could be taking so bloody long?
