The SuSE experiment, part 2

Well... after a little over 4 hours, the SuSE installation returned a bunch of package errors (around 30 of them) and the keyboard stopped working. After a hard reboot, it returned a non-system disk error. I have to say, I'm not terribly impressed. If the install didn't take 4 bloody hours, I'd try to mess with some settings and see what went wrong, but frankly, I don't feel like waiting 4 hours between each trial and error.
