Hey all.
So I just started a new job, and they have a transparent proxy setup which does some HTTP filtering. Game sites, blog sites, etc.
I wanna bust through that crap.
I have a linux box sitting on a T1 line, I have my home machine on cable, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this.
One thought I had was just to setup a squid proxy on my server, and lock it down by IP address to only allow my work machine. But I'm open to more ideas.
I'd rather not do VNC, PC Anywhere, or anything like that. I want a simple, elegant solution like an http proxy.
ideas?
