From high-speed to dial-up...question
I've obviously succumbed to insanity because in a week or two I'm going to give up my 3MB/s internet connection at my mother's and haul my computer outside city limits for dialup.
I'm running Fedora Core 1.... and have absoultely no clue as to what is involved in getting a linux computer to play nice on dialup. Since I have ethernet I haven't put much brainpower to use when it comes to things like this.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to do? Is there a specific ISP that I should check out.... a certain modem....how-to URL?
-Off to get my head examined...
