Couple of questions

I just recently activated the xinerama flag in my xorg.conf, and I'm no longer able to change the resolution of my monitors while inside KDE. KDE complains about needing the RANDR extension and recommends that I upgrade to version 4.3 of XFREE, but I'm already running xorg. Is there a flag I need? Oh, and my main monitor has begun using a virtual resolution of 1280x1024 even though before I enabled xinerama it was set at 1152x864 and i've never even set a virtual size.

Also, while xinerama is on, I can't play music without the sound becoming choppy in Noatun. It sounds like its squeaky (thats the best description i can give) and I'm not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions?

Again, I appreciate any help or direction I can get from you guys.
~Luke

UPDATE: I've figured out that the sound clipping only happens when I'm using Konquorer as a webbrowser. Is it a resource hog?
