Linare where?
So, recently Linare was added as a freee distro download at distrowatch (or some such). I downloaded it for a look see and put the .iso on cd and then. . . .
nothing.
now, for once I actually burned the .iso properly. It started the install and it stalled out halfway through. Any thoughts on this? Did it happen to anyone else? I was loading in on VMWare and the dostro may just not like VMWare (though that makes my head hurt in and of itself).
(aside: on a list of things that make my head hurt. I have a girl here at work who uses an old windows machine. There's an old CD that we've overwritten and every time she looks at it on her machine it shows the old files. In fact, it not only shows them but it can open and display them properly. Now, they're not on there. I've checked it on my own system in a few different way. They're just ghost files specific to her machine. And it only happens with that one CD . . . it boggles the mind!)
Anyway, just thought I'd ask if I was the only one who had experienced this.
